Earth and Abode offers a two hour on-site consultation appointment where we can view the site and offer unreserved design ideas, input, advice and guidance on how you can improve your space to make it amazing. If you decide to go ahead with a official design - great! - but if not, we'll leave you with a bunch of ideas and possibilities you can use to go it alone!

The starting point for any design project! Ready to begin? During this two hour on-site appointment we will view the site together, conduct and interview, gather information, and discuss your visions and goals for your project. After this meeting, a 3 tiered design quote will be prepared for your project so you can select only what design aspects you are interested in, and require for you and your contractor to complete your project. 

Your 2D overview plan is your design outline for your space. Planting areas, decks, hardscapes, fences, outdoor furniture and features are creatively planned and laid out for you. You fill in the blanks!

Your Planting Plan is your planting blueprint.  We meticulously select all the plants for your space with consideration to sun exposure, climate, size, shape, maintenance requirement, bloom time, growth rate, colour, fragrance, texture... We think of everything possible to ensure it all works together artistically and beautifully! 

Your planting plan comes complete with plan, plant list, and care and maintenance instructions.

We can arrange to install your plants for you, or leave this to you or your contractor.

Computer generated 3D renderings provide you a 3-dimentional view of what your completed design will look like.

Although Earth and Abode does not offer groundwork and hardscape build services ourselves, we can act as General Contractor for your project, and manage your project for you start to finish if you choose.

If you GC your project yourself we can meet with your contractors to go over and discuss your design so they are clear on all aspects before beginning construction. We are always available to you and them along the way to answer any questions, and can check in with them to insure everything is going smoothly and as planned. We can also arrange to make site visits if you require during construction.

Earth and Abode does offer plant installation services on smaller scale projects as well as some spring and fall maintenance services. 

For small scale projects, most well stocked nurseries should have available what your design dictates (all selections being zone specific to our area).

We do work with a number of wholesale nurseries and can order trees, shrubs and perennials for larger scale projects and have them delivered direct to your site.
